Being the official hotel sponsor of the JUE Festival has been fantastic for us – it is a perfect fit, just the market we are hoping to reach”

– Bruce Ryde General Manager Hotel Indigo Shanghai on the Bund

JUE | Music + Art is not a festival in the conventional sense, rather a curated series of experiences spanning the whole spectrum of cultural arts. It’s a multi-venue, multi-disciplinary collection of events over a 2-3 week period. JUE’s third annual appearance is slated for March 2011.

The creative industries in China have seen significant growth, prominence and influence over the last few years. From grassroots creative bazaars to large-scale government organized expos. The live music scene alone grew 28% last year*. This is in-part due to economic transformation, government support, education, the internet, changes in value and most importantly growing demand. *Ad Age China. 13 August 2009

Beijing’s Hotel G, was a minor sponsor of the 2010 JUE festival. JUE generated 14 times ROI in 2009 and a staggering 25 times ROI in 2010 in media value. Hotel G enjoyed citywide exposure in Beijing and Shanghai, prominently represented across 30,000 city map/festival planners, 100,000 flyers and 20,000 posters. Creative value-adds such as Alex’s (Hotel G Manager) “Interviewing the Artist”, free entry to all events for Hotel G room key holders and press conferences organized at the venue created reasons for fans to positively engage with the Hotel.
